Makers

We are ‘Champions of the Forgotten Maker’, the original 20th Century factories and workshops that produced the vintage furniture and lighting we sell today. Many of these makers were born alongside the industrial revolution, providing ‘mass’ produced furniture and equipment that was part of the economic boom. Most of the producer no longer exist and we are passionately trying to document and archive whatever historical material we can find. Some of the makers have survived, Thonet, Tolix and Nicolle to name a few.
