A good ‘industrial’ desk chair has gained an almost cult-like status in the last few years. The heyday of the swivel or office chair was in the 1930s when the modern office emerged, and practical chairs were needed for a new way of working. Some famous makers were Giroflex, Bombenstabil, and Tan Sad amongst many others. As champions of the forgotten maker our chairs come with a history and provenance and many of the makers have rich stories of their industrial past.
