Butcher's Blocks

We are always on the hunt for amazing vintage pieces from butchers shops. Like haberdashery units they tell a story of retailing from a different era. Back in the early 20th Century (and before) butchery was a real craft and a butchers ‘block’ was a butchers prize possession and most important tool, many butchers commissioned there own design and worked on their own block for their whole career. Nothing beats the addition of a vintage butchers block in a modern kitchen, a statement of character but also a practical work surface.
