1970's Italian Rattan Armchair - Franco Albini. We cannot attribute this with any documentation but the design and quality of construction would suggest to us that this chair was designed by Franco Albini the Italian architect who worked for Gio Ponti and is renowned for his craft and design in rattan with firms such as Bonacina. Either way it is a handsome armchair with a distinct seventies design and generous hoop arms. In excellent condition.
