Description:
1950’s French Mullca Cafe Dining Tables. One of our most favourite makers, in 1947 Robert Muller and Gaston Cavaillon created the company that went on to develop arguably the most famous French school chair. Sadly the company no longer exists but vintage can still be found. Unusually we came across this haul of Mullca tables, a first for us having never seen this model before. The tables came from a workers café on the French border near Strasbourg. Heavy weight metal frames with white resin coated tops. The tops have a matt white wipeable finish that is hard wearing and practical for daily use, it is not a painted finish but an applied bonded resin. The tables are in very good condition but some have been knocked a bit on the corners as shown, but for tables from the fifties, they are in great condition. The tapered tubular leg and overall design identifies them as Mullca. Great practical tables which easily pack down for practical storage. The legs simply slot into place and the legs can be further tightened and secured with bolts. Unfortunately, we have not shown this in the images, but the tables will come with bolts. The tables are sturdy and practical. Super practical and stylish. We service each table individually before they leave our workshop. Knee Clearance: 68cm.
