1950’s Baumann Low Bentwood Stools – Pair. Made by the maker Baumann. Baumann is a slightly off the radar French producer just starting to gain traction in the market. Baumann was founded in 1901, by Swiss man Emile Baumann, in Colombier Fontaine, France. Baumann started producing a simple child’s chair but grew rapidly to be a large bentwood producer with showrooms all over France. Beautifully made and designed these stools has a really rich colour and character. Stunning original patina with lovely sun bleach. We service and wax each stool before they leave our workshop.
