Description:

1970’s French White Metal Dining Chairs – Set Of Six. These chairs are inspired by Robert Mallet Stevens the French designer, architect and scholar. He is best known for a number of modernist villas designed and built in and around Paris. He is relatively low profile as his archive was destroyed (at his request) at the time of his death. These metal chairs were produced in the seventies and are a close copy of the original but the difference is three bars in the back and not four, production also ceased in the 1950’s. As a popular and practical design his inspiration lives on, beware many traders claim they have originals but the originals are extremely rare. However, good practical heavy weight chairs for indoor or outdoor use. Our workshop has cleaned and serviced them they are good to go.

Seat Height: 46cm.
