1960’s Small Shelved Mid Century Cabinet – Up Zavody. Superb practical piece of mid century storage by the Czech maker Up Zavody. Czech was a large producer of high quality mid century furniture following the surge of modernism originated by the Bauhaus school. The cabinet is one piece, the lower section has two storage compartments behind a pull down door flap with a contrasting solid sapele handle. The upper section a good sized open pigeon hole space. The whole cabinet is well made in oak, sitting on sapele pin legs, beautifully made and in exceptional condition. Our workshop has gently restored the cabinet.
