1960’s Original Holophane Parisian Glass Globe Lamps – Very Large 18 Inch (45cm). Holophane was founded in France in the late 19th Century and they are famous for their inventing and perfecting borosilicate glass reflectors often with intricate cast glass patterns which give a diffused and beautiful light. This is the iconic Parisian globe lamp used throughout Paris for street lighting and sadly removed from use in the late 20th Century, we have repurposed the extraordinary prismatic globe to form a stunning pendant lamp.

There are two versions available:
• Chrome gallery hook with chrome chain and black fabric covered flex.
• Brass gallery hook with brass chain and black covered flex.

Each lamp has been cleaned and restored and all electrical components have been removed and replaced with modern European CE standard components to BS EN 60598. Each lamp is individually tested and labelled to BS EN 60598. INCLUDED: Each lamp comes completely wired and ready to install including; 2 metres of chain for hanging the lamps, 2 metres of black fabric covered electrical cable and a ceiling hook as shown. We can supply more than 2 metres of hanging cable/chain as required, please contact us separately to discuss. Each lamp is fitted with a standard E27 threaded lamp holder for which a wide range of modern and vintage style filament bulbs are widely available. We do not currently sell bulbs and recommend LED bulbs 6W maximum. Please note this is a heavy lamp approximately 25kg and a suitable hanging point must be used.
