1960’s Good Sized Mid Century Red Door Open Wardrobe – Up Zavody. Superb practical piece of mid century storage by the Czech maker Up Zavody and designed by Frantisek Mezulanik. Czech was a large producer of high quality mid century furniture following the surge of modernism originated by the Bauhaus school. The main cabinet is made from well figured birch with a contrasting interior. The whole cabinet is beautifully made sitting on dark sapele pin legs. Our workshop has gently restored the cabinet so all doors open and close well and the cabinet is in exceptional original condition.
