Description:

1950’s Tan Rexine T37 Tolix Dining Chairs With Sea Green Frames – Set Of Ten. Tolix is one of our all time favourite companies. In 1907 Frenchman Xavier Pauchard discovered that he could protect sheet metal from rusting by dipping it in molten zinc (galvanisation) and a few years later he set up his factory producing steel furniture. Tolix was the creator and founder of perhaps the most iconic café chair of all time, the Tolix model A. This set is highly unusual, the original T37 model but upholstered with the original upholstery. These chairs are not suitable for outdoor use because of the upholstery. Our workshop cleans and rejuvenates each chair before it leaves our workshop.

Seat Height: 45cm.
