1950's Original Orange Tolix Folding Metal Outdoor Chairs - Various Quantities Available. Tolix is one of our all time favourite companies. In 1907 Frenchman Xavier Pauchard discovered that he could protect sheet metal from rusting by dipping it in molten zinc (galvanisation) and a few years later he set up his factory producing steel furniture. Tolix was the creator and founder of perhaps the most iconic cafe chair of all time, the Tolix model A, designed in 1934. Tolix have used all their skill to produce exquisitely designed but practical metal furniture. This is a set of hard to find original heavy weight metal garden chairs. Our workshop has cleaned and serviced the chairs so they are ready to go. Folded flat the chairs close at 4H x 40W x 93L, all cm. Seat Height 43cm
