1950’s Original Hoop back Bentwood Dining Standard Chairs – Small Batch Available. This listing is for what we call a ‘standard shape’ of hoop back dining chairs, the chairs will always have a simple curved classic hoop back, a mid to dark oak colour and classic shape as shown but there will be minor design differences in chair detail. The variation could be on leg shape, seat construction or another minor design difference. For all orders we will select a random mix of this model. All chairs are original bentwood chairs from the 1950’s and every chair has been serviced and rejuvenated in our own workshops. The chairs will come from a variety of makers, typically French or Eastern European. Dimensions vary slightly, below is for an average/typical size chair. Seat Height: 46cm
Workshop Report:
Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
