1950’s Honey Oak Mahieu Bentwood Dining Chair – Set Of Ten. Classic 50’s beech bistro chair made in France by the maker Mahieu. Not much is known of the history of Mahieu except they were a was a small artisanal producer in Romeries in the north of France, and closed its production in the 1980’s. A classic French bentwood producer in the same style as Baumann, Thonet or J.J. Kohn. This set is very original with a good honey colour, well shaped backs and a well loved colour and character. Stunning original condition. We service and wax each chair before they leave our workshop and we deliver chairs of excellent quality. Seat height 48cm.
