1950's Bentwood Debrecen Blonde Dining Chairs - Set Of Six. It is hard to be precise about the origin of these chairs as little history is known, but what we do know is at the beginning of the 20th Century two producers existed J&J Kohn and Mundus. Both produced chairs in various factories throughout the Austro Hungarian empire. These chairs are from the 1950's from Debrecen or Mundus, we know it is a Mundus model because we have seen marked examples. Either way, beautiful surviving and fascinating chairs, please note this is a mismatched harlequin set with design differences between the chairs. The set comprises four side chairs and two arm chairs. All our chairs pass through our own workshop where they are gently serviced and sensitively restored, we only sell vintage of excellent quality.
