1940’s English Haberdashery Display Cabinet – Brass Framed. Classic English shop display case from a haberdashers or hatters. The case was used to display tallet items on stands. The cabinet is oak in structure with a brass frame. The ruler shows the makers mark John Rabone & Sons Birmingham est. 1784, legendary toolmakers, they were unlikely to be the cabinet maker whom sadly remains unknown. The cabinet has four independent glass sliding doors, all of which run smoothly. The cabinet has been serviced by our workshop and is good to go.
