1950’s Workshop Task Lamp By Memlite. The lamp was produced by Memlite, the company was founded in 1908 originally to produce electrical switches and components. The lamp has been cleaned and restored but we have left the history and character. The lamp is individually tested and labelled to BS EN 60598. The lamp comes completely wired and ready to use as shown. We have mounted the lamp on a small slab of salvaged Iroko which is counter weighted underneath. The lamp is fitted with a standard E27 threaded lamp holder for which a wide range of modern and vintage style filament bulbs are widely available. We do not currently sell bulbs and recommend LED bulbs 6W maximum. The lamp is currently wired and fitted for UK and EU compliance. Please note the correct plug will be fitted for use in the delivery address country. The height of the lamp is measured when it’s fully extended.

We take electrical safety very seriously, our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that every lamp leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. Each lamp has been cleaned and restored and all original electrical components have been removed and replaced with modern European CE standard components to BS EN 60598. Each lamp is individually tested and labelled to BS EN 60598. Each lamp comes completely wired.
