1960’s Holophane Industrial Pendant Lamp With Dome. Holophane was founded in France in the late 19th Century and they are famous for their inventing and perfecting borosilicate glass reflectors often with intricate cast glass patterns which give a diffused and beautiful light. The lamp body is spun aluminium with a cast top, the light source is the original Holophane glass reflector. The lamp has been cleaned and restored and all electrical components have been removed and replaced with modern European CE standard components to BS EN 60598. The lamp is individually tested and labelled to BS EN 60598 and comes completely wired and ready to install including; 2 metres of wire for hanging the lamps, 2 metres of black fabric covered electrical cable and a ceiling anchor point as shown. We can also supply more than 2 metres of hanging cable/wire/chain etc. as required, please contact us separately to discuss. Each lamp is fitted with a standard E27 threaded lamp holder for which a wide range of modern and vintage style filament bulbs are widely available. We do not currently sell bulbs and recommend LED bulbs 6W maximum. We are specialists in refurbishment of vintage lighting, please contact us with any questions regarding purchase or installation. The lamp is currently wired and fitted for UK and EU compliance. The lamp can be wired for compliance in the US or any global market.
