Mid 20th century educational rigid chart - carp. A rare school poster from the Czech Republic published in 1963 using the artwork of artist Jan Solovjev. Jan Solovjev (1922-2014) was known for his descriptive illustrations of plants, butterflies, minerals and more, and then in later life for his portraits and landscapes. This rigid card backed chart is in excellent condition for its age with the print still reflecting life like colours. These beautiful illustrative charts were widely used in schools and universities before the development of screens and projectors.
