Early 20th century German educational chart of Pieris Brassicae . Vintage poster of Pieris Brassicae (also known as the Cabbage Butterfly) and slip wasps. A depiction of nature at work ; the slip wasps attacking the butterfly eggs and the caterpillars so they do not eat the leaves. A large poster with English and German text with a muted colour palate. The rigid card backed chart is fixed on split wooden dowels.In excellent condition for its age with the print still reflecting life like colours. These beautiful illustrative charts were widely used in schools and universities before the development of screens and projectors.
