1960’s Pel Tubular Metal Upholstered Dining Chairs. Pel chairs are a British essential and this set was an incredible find in exceptional original condition, nearly all with Pel branding. Pel are best known for the simpler tubular frame ply seat chairs and this is the first time we have seen this design of heavy weight upholstered dining chair. The frames are a heavy weight graphite black and the chairs retain their tough rexine upholstered seats and backs. We have left them in their original condition and upholstery but these chairs do have some nicks and wear and tear. The foam under the seat upholstery has disintegrated over time but is still okay in the backs. Our workshop services and rejuvenates each chair before it leaves us. Seat Height 45cm.
