1950's Pel - Cox Tubular Metal Outdoor Dining Chairs With Blue Seats - Quantity Available. One of the all time classic British chairs inspired by the contemporary designs of Bauhaus. The most famous producer in England was PEL, but several other manufacturers produced the same design. These chairs were originally made with canvas slings which rotted many years ago and we have simply salvaged the original elegant frames, and in our own workshops fitted them with custom made sheet aluminium seats and backs, powder coated blue. A contemporary way to save beautiful original frames. The original PEL frames have been cleaned and protected with wax and the aluminium seats will last outdoors in perpetuity. Seat height 45cm.
