1950’s Pair Of Original Metal Stacking Fibrocit Dining Chairs
Description
1950’s pair of original metal stacking Fibrocit dining chairs. Founded in Belgium in 1920 by Antony Neuckens, Fibrocit started by importing fibrous cement acoustic tiles for theatres and auditoriums, eventually this led to requests for seating and the classic Fibrocit chair was born. Contemporary competitors to Evertaut, Tolix and Multipl’s Fibrocit chairs are increasingly hard to find. Made from stamped and pressed metal the chairs are in exceptional condition with original paint and all original screws that secure the metal seat to the sub frame. The feet still retain the original wooden shaping plugs. Fibrocit continues to this day but is now mainly focussed on contract auditorium seating. Seat Height 46cm.
