1950's Bentwood Debrecen Walnut Dining Chairs - Set Of Ten. Good set by the Hungarian producer Debrecen it is hard to be precise about the origin of these chairs as little history is known, but what we do know is at the beginning of the 20th Century Debrecen was a bentwood maker in Hungary. Three major producers existed in Hungary, producing chairs in various factories throughout the Austro Hungarian empire. These chairs are 1950's, they not labelled Debrecen but we are confident they are. This set is a rich dark walnut colour with wide comfortable saddle back. All our chairs pass through our own workshop where they are gently serviced and sensitively restored, we only sell vintage of excellent quality. Seat Height 46cm
