1920's Large Glass Fronted Belgian Military Campaign Library Cabinet. Highly unusual and very practical large glass fronted cabinet with two sliding doors. The cabinet is relatively lightweight as it was made to be easily transported and is 'flat pack'. The cabinet is a very early flat pack piece of furniture and can be easily disassembled for transport and access. The cabinet is made from pitch pine and birch ply, the outer faces have been painted in a faux oak finish. The cabinet retains all the original fixtures and can be easily disassembled and reassembled. Our workshop has serviced and rejuvenated the cabinet ensuring that all fixings work well, and that the doors slide practically. When assembled properly the cabinet is strong and steady.
