Designed exclusively for Merchant & Found by the leading British designer Simon Pengelly, Frame is a stunning statement dining table suitable for both private and commercial settings. The brief was to create a visually strong table but with a lightweight design that creates presence without being too heavy in a room. The table is designed specifically to work with the contrast of vintage chairs but will work equally well with contemporary chairs. The table is made with solid sustainable European oak throughout. The solid oak top is subtly divide into a three plank configuration with a simple break line that creates the plank effect. The trestle style base is very rigid using solid oak throughout and the design allows maximum all round leg room. A strong and stable table beautifully made.
The table is finished in very light matt lacquer which has allowed the grain to lift slightly giving a smoot but tactile finish of the natural grain.
Frame comes in two standard sizes: 220cm and 280cm length.
These tables have now been used in several commercial settings and have proved hard wearing and practical.
If our standard stocked sizes (above) are not right for your project, our workshop is also able to produce custom size tables for low production minimums.
The table comes flat packed but are easily assembled.

The Frame table is made exclusively for us in Romania. The table is made in solid sustainable European oak and finished by hand in a small and specialised woodworking workshop using traditional construction.
