1960’s Very Large French Trestle Dining Tables. Trestle tables are such a practical piece of furniture and these came from an industrial workshop café where they have seen daily use since the sixties, with perhaps a holiday break every August. The tops are solid pine planks joined with tongue and groove construction. The tops sit on really handsome bases, beautifully made with heavy slightly brutal pine sections and real attention to detail where the edges have been slightly chamfered. Incredibly strong and stable at 2.8 metres length these are really practical tables, the tops sit neatly in grooved supports to stop them moving. At time of listing we had 15 tables, listing is for one table. Knee clearance: 75 cm
