Payments
We offer a 14 day returns policy, the buyer pays return postage. Items must be returned with a reputable courier and must arrive back in the condition it was sent out. No international returns under any circumstances. Goods stored will be deemed delivered after 14 days storage and as such are non refundable. Please refer to our full terms and conditions for full return and delivery terms.
Restocking charge
For cancelled/refunded orders we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of a maximum 25% on returns. This covers our costs where we have handled volume of stock and both in and out of our warehouse and to cover the packing and order preparation costs.
Storage
We are unable to store orders beyond 14 days from purchase. If an order cannot be collected or delivered within 14 days we reserve the right to to charge storage at 5% of order value per week. Goods stored will be deemed delivered after 14 days storage and as such are non refundable.
Custom order goods
When any specific work is carried out to modify an order that physically or intrinsically changes the nature of a product the order will be deemed non refundable.
Condition of Vintage Items
Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible. want you to be over the moon when you unwrap your delivery so please make sure you study the photographs on our website to satisfy yourself with the condition before the item is shipped. We do our very best to describe and photograph every piece to cover all vintage marks, bumps and scrapes but please call us and we can talk you through the piece or indeed send you more photographs.
Shipping
Orders will normally be shipped out within 3-5 working days, depending on the size of your order it can take up to 5 days for delivery. Larger orders will be delivered by private courier or delivery service, so please allow a longer delivery and dispatch time. We are not Amazon so please bear with us if in busy periods we may run behind schedule, if your order is needed for a specific date we will do everything we can to make that date. Our priority is to deliver a product that exceeds your expectation and is delivered on time, but quality comes first. With vintage products everything is carefully checked before dispatch, if we spot something that needs a bit of love and attention it might take that extra day.
We have a great carrier that we trust to deliver. They work on a weekly cycle, orders received up to Friday night are usually delivered within the next seven days. Once they receive your order, the team will contact you to organise a mutually convenient delivery time and date. All large items are delivered by hand, and with great care, into your home or office and we welcome feedback on their service. It is absolutely essential that you are at the address to take delivery and are reachable on the mobile number you provide. Failure to do so may result in a re-delivery charge by the carrier but they will do their best to be flexible.
All our orders are extremely well packed and time and care is taken to ensure that your order arrives safely with you. In the unfortunate case you order is damaged we can open a claim with the courier and get the item either refunded or repaired (UK orders only). We cannot however refund any breakages to fragile items such as glass as insurance cannot be provided from the courier. With large furniture pieces we do not necessarily fully wrap pieces as the wrapping can actually make it more difficult to handle the piece. In such cases we generally shrink wrap the piece and use strong edge protectors to cover vulnerable corners and edges.
We do occasionally ship furniture on pallets and we have found this to be a very cost effective and safe service.
Description of Goods
Vintage items do not come with an instruction manual and we do our best to describe and identify the maker and age of a piece but in many cases this is based on general knowledge or experience. We regret we cannot accept returns for unverified disputes on age, maker or provenance. Any dispute would need to be settled buy a mutually agreed third party expert.

UK shipping charges
Small items: Small items are usually sent by MyHermes or UPS. Charges are quoted next to the item price and vary from £4.50 through to about £15.
Furniture: We regularly ship orders throughout the UK and have a good network of shippers who can be relied upon to deliver your order safely and on time. Shipping rates are quoted next to the item price and are for UK orders only.
International Shipments
Our website is set up primarily to ship orders to the UK and shipping rates are quoted on that basis. For all international orders at point of purchase you will be able checkout and pay for your order with no shipping charges. At this point we will contact you directly to discuss the various shipping options. International shipping charges are calculated and paid separately. If at any stage you are not willing to accept the quoted international shipping rates you can arrange your own shipping or cancel your order for immediate refund. Please note you need to pay attention to any applicable duties and taxes on importation and as these vary by country we cannot assist with calculating these but as a guide (only) it is usually only local sales tax.
