Original Tolix H Stool Galvanised – Set Of Three

Contemporary Original Tolix H Stool Galvanised – Set Of Three. Tolix is one of our all time favourite companies. In 1907 Frenchman Xavier Pauchard discovered that he could protect sheet metal from rusting by dipping it in molten zinc (galvanisation) and a few years later he set up his factory producing steel furniture. Tolix was the creator and founder of perhaps the most iconic cafe chair of all time, the Tolix model A, designed in 1934. This Tolix model is the H stool made for us for a photoshoot in Wired magazine this year, they are made from zinc galvanised steel with a satin gloss finish. Technically ‘ex display’ so sold as seen but in as new condition. Seat Height 45cm.
