1970’s Pair Of Bedside Chests – Four Drawer. Classic seventies drawers produced by Nabytek in Brno in the Czech Republic. Czech design will always be affiliated to the Bauhaus movement which inspired a generation of design and industrial production in Czechia principally during the second half of the 20th , with producers such as Ton and Up Zavody amongst many others. NabytekÂ’s was one of the top end cabinet producers competing with Up Zavody. This is a good quality practical pair of bedside chests with four soft light grey drawer fronts. The cabinets are made from birch and sit on metal plinths, with original glass tops. The drawer boxes are high quality practical polycarbonate. Our workshop has gently restored the cabinets so that drawers run smoothly. Internal drawer dimensions: 39L x 48W x 9H all cm.
