1960’s Elm And Ash Church – Chapel Dining Chairs – Harlequin Set Of Six
Description
1960’s Elm And Ash Church – Chapel Dining Chairs – Harlequin Set Of Six. England has a wonderfully rich heritage for making chairs. At the height of production at the turn of the last century over 4500 chairs were being produced daily in the villages around High Wycombe. Each chair was hand made typically in Oak or Elm. We have a passion for Church chairs and will blog about the history at some stage. Sadly Churches find non stacking chairs take up too much space so they find their way to us to for a second rich life. This is a mixed set of six chairs, the chairs are in excellent condition, handmade in elm and ash. We service and wax each chair individually before they leave our workshop and we deliver chairs of excellent quality. Please note this is a mixed set of several styles of classic English Church chairs. Sizes vary as photographed. Each chair is serviced and carefully rejuvenated on our own workshops. Seat height 46cm.
