1950’s Tecta Stacking Dining Chairs In Beech Wood – Set Of Eight
1950’s Tecta Stacking Dining Chairs In Beech Wood – Set Of Eight. The classic Tecta stacking dining chair made from laminated Beech. Once the staple of schools and Churches throughout the UK, practical because they stack neatly and incredibly well made with laminated solid Beech wood throughout. We picked these up from a very small village church hall in the Midlands. The chairs have been cleaned and are in great condition. England has a wonderfully rich heritage for making chairs. At the height of production at the turn of the last century over 4500 chairs were being produced daily in the villages around High Wycombe. Although from a Church they do not have the Bible shelf. We service and wax each chair individually before they leave our workshop and we deliver chairs of excellent quality. Seat Height 46cm.
Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
