Description:
1950’s T37 Original Tolix Yellow And Black Armchairs – Set Of Thirteen. Tolix is one of our all time favourite companies. In 1907 Frenchman Xavier Pauchard discovered that he could protect sheet metal from rusting by dipping it in molten zinc (galvanisation) and a few years later he set up his factory producing steel furniture. Tolix was the creator and founder of perhaps the most iconic café chair of all time, the Tolix model A. This listing is for the T37, designed in 1937 this set is an unusual find, very original with black frames and yellow laminated seats, classic fifties. We do not recommend outdoor use, the laminate will eventually deteriorate. Our workshop cleans and rejuvenates each chair before they leave our workshop. Seat Height 45cm.
