1950’s Round Wooden Dining Table With Turned Base. Beautiful simple and classic mid century table sourced in the Czech Republic and made by Drevotvar. Czech design will always be affiliated to the Bauhaus movement which inspired a generation of design and industrial production in Czechia principally during the second half of the 20th , with producers such as Ton and Up Zavody amongst many others. This is a high quality table with a rich walnut coloured oak top sitting on a sculptural birch base in the style of Nana Dietzel. The table is solid and strong and in excellent original condition, our workshop has gently cleaned the table. Knee height clearance 71cm.
