1950’s Remploy tubular metal stacking dining chairs – set of ten. Remploy was established in 1944 by the Disabled Persons (Employment) Act, the aim of which was to provide employment for people injured during the war and coal miners with health conditions. Remploy was on of the largest producers of tubular stacking chairs initially developed by the Bauhaus movement. These chairs are from the mid 50’s with Remploy branding. The frame is tubular metal and the seats beech ply. We service and wax each chair individually before they leave our workshop and we deliver chairs of excellent quality. We specialise in high quality vintage dining chairs and have a large range.
