1950’s Original French Tolix T37 Outdoor Dining Chairs – Set Of Six. Tolix is one of our all time favourite companies. In 1907 Frenchman Xavier Pauchard discovered that he could protect sheet metal from rusting by dipping it in molten zinc (galvanisation) and a few years later he set up his factory producing steel furniture. Tolix was the creator and founder of perhaps the most iconic cafe chair of all time, the Tolix model A. This listing is for the T37, designed in 1937 this set of six metal chairs retain the original paint which is in relatively very good condition. Our workshop cleans and rejuvenates each chair before it leaves our workshop. Seat Height 46cm.
