1950’s Oak Apothecary Multi Drawer Chest of Drawers – Thirty Two Drawers – Unit One
Description
1950’s oak apothecary multi drawer chest of drawers – thirty two drawers. (Unit One).
One of our favourite ever finds this is an exceptional unit with great proportions and a rich warm oak colour. From the early 50’s, the chest of drawers is in incredible condition with a complete set of original handles and name card holders and the most beautiful card drawer numbers plaques. The drawers are dovetailed and made from Beech. Sourced from a German chemist family business that have traded in the same building for several generations. This family were hoarders and every time their shop was refurbished they fortunately kept the shop fit that had been removed. This is a beautiful drawer unit used to house the various medications and ingredients, remnants of some which were still in the drawers, beautifully hand made for the family business. We have two units available, almost identical except the number plaques. Drawer Dimensions: 40cm x 31cm x 14cm.
