1950’s Low Slatted Rectangular Occasional Table

Description

1950’s Low Slatted Rectangular Occasional Table. Beautiful simple and classic mid century low table sourced in the Czech Republic. Czech design will always be affiliated to the Bauhaus movement which inspired a generation of design and industrial production in Czechia principally during the second half of the 20th , with producers such as Ton and Up Zavody amongst many others. Designed by Frantisek Mezulanik and made by Up Zavody, this is a high quality practical table inspired by the work of George Nelson, with a slatted birch frame suspended on an ebonised birch base. The table is solid and strong and in excellent original condition our workshop has gently cleaned the table.
