1950’s ESA Esavian James Leonard Single Drawer Masters Desk. In our view James Leonard is the unsung hero of British Post War design. His ESA company transformed the design led fit out of schools in the post war period but his legacy is hardly known, the masters desk is one of his finest pieces. Dating from the late 1950’s the design has a grace and timeless elegance. Made with a solid teak top and a pressure cast aluminium frame. Model number ESA 6212. The desk is original throughout and our workshop has cleaned and rejuvenated the frame and drawer which runs smoothly. Internal drawer dimensions 38L x 78W x 7H.
Workshop Report
