1950’s Bentwood Debrecen Elegant Back Dining Chairs – Set Of Six. It is hard to be precise about the origin of these chairs as little history is known, but what we do know is at the beginning of the 20th Century two producers existed J&J Kohn and Mundus. Both produced chairs in various factories throughout the Austro Hungarian empire. These chairs are a lovely elegant model from the fifties from Debrecen. Either way, beautiful surviving and fascinating chairs with a lovely elegant pure shape and a rich colour. All our chairs pass through our own workshop where they are gently serviced and sensitively restored, we only sell vintage of excellent quality. Seat height 45cm.

All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
