1940's Twenty Four Painted Bank Of Drawers - Haberdashery. Sourced in Lancashire this is a lovely original painted bank of drawers made specifically to house 'Simplicity Printed Patterns', retaining the original branding. Made principally of pine, retaining the original aged painted finish, and the original set of pressed bronze coloured handles and label markers. Simplicity was founded in New York in 1927, during the depression, responding to the economic demand for patterns to make home sewing 'simple' and reliable. Internal drawer dimensions: 15L x 54W x 26H all cm.
