1940’s Large Rectangular Pollard & Co Brass Haberdashery Cabinet – 18 Drawer. Classic Pollards craftsmanship. Made throughout in a mixture of oak and ash, Pollards is considered one of the top end cabinet makers and that is evident in the quality and craftsmanship of this piece. Sitting on shaped 1940’s feet the cabinet is strong and solid and all the drawers are finger jointed. Our workshop team has gently restored this cabinet, replacing any worn drawer runners, making sure all drawers run smoothly, but essentially cleaning and waxing the piece to bring out the rich original details whilst retaining the character and history. The cabinet is a rare large size, with an exceptional brass frame and original brass measuring rule stamped into the frame. The cabinet features two sliding rear doors gaining access to the stunning glass display shelf. Superb high quality brass handles throughout. Internal drawer dimensions: 31W x 10H x 44 Long at the top and cascading down to 56 Long at the bottom. All cm.
