1940’s High Quality English Oak Museum Display Cabinet – 12 Drawers. Superb quality museum specimen cabinet made with superb craftsmanship. Made throughout in a mixture of oak and pine, made by one of the top end cabinet makers it is evident in the quality and craftsmanship of this piece. Sitting on a black plinth feet the cabinet is strong and solid and all the dovetailed drawers run well. Our workshop team has gently restored this cabinet, replacing any worn drawer runners, making sure all drawers run smoothly, but essentially cleaning and waxing the piece to bring out the rich original details whilst retaining the character and history. All the original brass handles and name card holders remain although the locks do not have keys.The top section is accessed when the hinged glass top is lifted to gain access inside. Internal drawer dimensions: 57W x 7H x 57L. All cm.
