1930’s Atelier Cabinets by De Dietrich Reichsheffen. An exceptional 1930’s original wooden locker by De Dietrich of Reichenshoffen. De Dietrich was founded in 1684 and was the first industrial company to create a logo (a hunting horn) stamped on all products sold, they are credited with inventing the first domestic cooker. This locker was salvaged from their atelier in Reichenshoffen, Alsace France. The carcass is a simple pine construction rigidly built with finger joints on all corners and the bottom is wrapped in sheet steel. The doors are the highlight, pressed and louvered sheet steel with decent chunky latches and hinges. We have done nothing to this piece but a gentle clean. We think the grey is the original paint but can’t be 100% and we felt it was right to leave the paint as we found it, we love it as it is. The internal dimensions of each cupboard are 172H x 45W x 39D all cm.

All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
