1920’s Industrial Round Console Table/High Dining Table With Marble Top
Description
1920’s vintage industrial console table/dining table with marble top. We salvaged the stunning heavy cast metal base from the works of Taylor Hobson and married it to a contemporary Italian Carrara Marble top to create this table. At 86cm high it is approximately 10cm higher than a standard dining table so it is probably most practical as a statement console table but with higher industrial stools it would be a practical statement dining table. The base weighs a good 90 kg so the table is very stable. Taylor Hobson is a British company founded in 1886 and famous for producing optical lenses and associated industrial machinery. The base was salvaged from a large engraving machine. Base Diameter 55cm.
