1920’s Good Sized Solid Oak Bank Of Filing Drawers – Ten Drawers. This is a good sized bank of English drawers marked with ‘GRV’ and the Crown logo which means the cabinet was made in the reign of King George the Fifth and was specifically made and inventoried for a public building. The cabinet itself is solid oak with crown marked solid brass name tags on the drawers. The whole piece is made from solid oak throughout. The drawers feature the original simple metal stop locks that drop into a scooped slot to prevent them coming out of the carcass. All the drawers are original and open and operate smoothly, all handles and brass are original, a great practical piece of history with a well crafted panelled back. Internal drawer dimensions 36L x28W x 16H, drawers are divided in two with a divider, each side 13cm width.
