The surge of industrial production in the 20th Century means that we usually have a rich selection of these practical pieces, usually with a rich industrial heritage. Every 20th Century factory or workshop needed trolleys or storage crates and companies such as Suroy produced robust vulcanised card crates that have stood the test of time and are as practical today as they were in a busy 1950’s textile factory.
