Desks

At Merchant & Found, we specialise in original 20th-century vintage furniture and are always on the hunt for a good desk as they are always in demand. We try to carry a few classic metal desks by makers such as Gispen or Art Metal, but we also try to have stock of James Leonard or similar, something interesting but not too ‘corporate’. We also try to have a good selection of classic swivel chairs which had a boom period during the ’50s with makers such as Bombenstabil, Giroflex or Bienaise.

We gently service all of our desks, making sure drawers run as smoothly as possible, retaining the knocks and bumps of their history but making sure they are ready to provide use every day.
