We have an experienced logistics team that organises our deliveries, we can ship anything anywhere, from a small boxed object to a full shipping container. We are based in Europe with distribution points in north and central Europe and in the United Kingdom. We deliver to The United States Of America on a regular basis.

Every week we carefully pack and dispatch a huge variety of orders throughout the USA.

We have a dedicated packing facility and can deliver from a small crated table through to a dedicated shipping container. Smaller orders are well packed in boxes and sent by a variety of ‘box’ delivery couriers from UPS through to Fed Ex. For furniture orders we deliver either airfreight or sea freight depending on the size of the order, the urgency and the budget. Sea freight to the West Coast can take 5 to 6 weeks, to the East Cost 3 to 4 weeks. Airfreight can take as little as 10 days but is more expensive.

Due to the complex nature of calculating shipping costs on larger furniture orders our website is unable to calculate an accurate or realistic shipping quotation. For smaller items where we can readily calculate the shipping costs this will be indicated next to the product price.

When you have selected your items, please just check out as normal, this is important as it will reserve the stock for you. If there are items in your order where we need to calculate an individual shipping charge our logistics team will contact you to discuss the most practical way to ship your order. If for any reason you are not happy with the shipping quote your order will be refunded in full.

To help you understand the potential shipping costs our logistics team have put together estimated shipping costs for typical furniture and smaller item orders and these charges are listed below.

Delivery Time: Orders will normally be shipped out within 3-5 working days, depending on the size of the order and any specialist packing.
Small boxed orders: Delivery time 2 to 10 days.

Chairs: Smaller orders of chairs, sets of 4/6/8 up to approximately 10 can be sent cost effectively in boxes by a Fed Ex Type carrier. Delivery takes 10 to 14 days.

Larger furniture orders: For larger orders they can either be sent by sea freight or commercial air freight. Sea freight is usually more cost effective but can take 4 – 6 weeks. For larger commercial orders we can organise full containers 20 ft or 40ft. Air freight is more expensive but is much quicker at 10 to 14 days.

Packing and handling:
All sea freight or commercial air freight orders will be professionally packed by our team, either freight pallets or full sided crates. Please consider that for most larger crated shipments you will need to consider unloading facilities where crates can be unloaded and goods can be unpacked.
We are unable to offer a white glove delivery into a residential or commercial address.

Our specialist team will advise on all aspects of delivery and shipping and give a competitive delivery quote door to door.

Customs: For export shipments outside the European Union orders will have to clear customs and may incur duty. Once an order is placed we will calculate customs and duty and advise these additional costs which will be chargeable before shipment.

Boxed Orders: Delivery typically by courier. Tracking information will be provided. You will be required to sign for receipt of delivery.

Returns

We offer a 14 day returns policy, the buyer pays return postage or delivery. Items must be returned with a reputable courier and must arrive back in the condition sent out. We will assist as required with nominating a carrier.

All returns must be authorised by Merchant & Found. Please contact us for authorisation and to agree the return process.

All returns must be sent by recorded delivery. Returns will not be accepted until received and inspected. Refunds are processed within 14 days to the original payment method.

Goods stored will be deemed delivered after 14 days storage and as such are non refundable. Please refer to our full terms and conditions for full return and delivery terms.

Transport damage claims

If in the unlikely event that you wish to make a claim based on damage in transit:
Please photograph the delivery recording any damage to external packaging. Damages must be photographed and reported to us within 48 hours of delivery. We regret without this information we cannot agree any damage claims.

Restocking charge

For cancelled/refunded orders we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of a maximum 25% on returns. This covers our costs where we have handled volume of stock and both in and out of our warehouse and to cover the packing and order preparation costs.

Storage

We are unable to store orders beyond 14 days from purchase. If an order cannot be collected or delivered within 14 days we reserve the right to charge storage at 5% of order value per week. Goods stored will be deemed delivered after 14 days storage and as such are non refundable.

Custom order goods

When any specific work is carried out to modify an order that physically or intrinsically changes the nature of a product the order will be deemed non refundable.

Condition of Vintage Items

Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. We have described the work that our team does to ensure that every order exceeds your expectation. There is a difference between wear and tear and faults. Our passion is the wear and tear is an integral part of the product, and that is why we love vintage. However, it is essential that a vintage piece is practical for use so our workshop will give every piece the attention it needs, but we do not restore. Restoration by definition can remove the history and character that we believe is integral.

All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.

We want you to be over the moon when you unwrap your delivery so please make sure you study the photographs on our website to satisfy yourself with the condition before the item is shipped. The condition of a vintage item is subjective and it is impossible for us to list all wear and tear or damages so please take care to examine all the listing photographs and familiarise yourself with the product. We photograph everything with flash and do our best to ensure colours are well represented, we do not use photoshop to minimise or disguise wear and tear.

Description of Goods

Vintage items do not come with an instruction manual and we do our best to describe and identify the maker and age of a piece but in many cases this is based on general knowledge or experience. We regret we cannot accept returns for unverified disputes on age, maker or provenance. Any dispute would need to be settled buy a mutually agreed third party expert.
