Dishoom è stato lanciato per la prima volta nel 2010, concettualmente basato sui caffè iraniani che un tempo erano molto diffusi a Bombay ma che ora sono sempre più rari. Abbiamo fornito posti a sedere a diversi dei loro ristoranti, tutte sedie vintage e solitamente rivestite con grafiche audaci.

Il nostro preferito è stato il coinvolgimento con l'ambizioso grande sito di Canary Wharf. Il team di progettazione è andato oltre, facendo riferimento a un "proprietario immaginario, un truffatore finanziario degli anni '70 che possiede un bar in Dalal Street, vicino alla Borsa di Bombay".

Sessioni Art Club

Abbiamo incontrato Jonny per la prima volta nel 2020, quando ci ha contattato per un "lotto" di sedie in legno curvato per una nuova iniziativa di ristorazione che stava pianificando. All'epoca avevamo appena ricevuto in consegna uno straordinario set di sedie Thonet originali che avevamo acquistato da un vecchio cinema appena fuori Praga. Le sedie conservavano ancora alcuni dei numeri di seduta originali. Abbiamo consegnato alcune settimane prima del primissimo "lockdown" e i nostri cuori erano rivolti a Jonny e al team.

Ci vollero alcuni mesi prima che sentissimo di nuovo Jonny, ma alla fine riaprirono e il resto è storia, Sessions a Londra in un baleno. Da vero gentiluomo, Jonny si tiene in contatto e noi continuiamo a rifornire le sue varie iniziative. Un uomo con una visione e un piano straordinari. Crediti per le foto del ristorante: Beth Evans

Scatola mozzo

Abbiamo lavorato con il team di Hub Box per tre siti finora. Dorchester, Plymouth e Truro. Ogni Hub Box è stato sviluppato attorno ai temi centrali di amici, famiglia e ottimo cibo. Con sede nel sud-ovest e in rapida crescita, il ristorante orientale è meticolosamente progettato con il suo carattere, celebrando il bello e il buono di ogni area locale.

Per ogni ristorante abbiamo fornito la maggior parte delle sedie, Hub Box ottiene vintage e i più ampi vantaggi sostenibili. Abbiamo lavorato con il team per fornire classici degli anni Cinquanta.

Brughiera di Duns

In questo ristorante del Glassell Park di Los Angeles, lo chef Brian Dunsmoor elabora un menù di cucina tradizionale americana ispirata al sud. Saprai di averlo trovato quando vedrai la facciata angolare splendidamente decorata dell'edificio. Dunsmoor, un ristorante in cui i piatti vengono preparati su un grande focolare e un forno a legna, l'obiettivo è fare un passo indietro per andare avanti.

Collettivo Cassia

Abbiamo lavorato con Anna e il team Cassia fin dai primissimi concept discussi nel 2020. La missione di Cassia Collective è cambiare il modo in cui lavoriamo, mangiamo e socializziamo. Abbiamo fornito la maggior parte dei tavoli, una combinazione dei nostri tavoli Slice più piccoli e Frame in rovere massello più grandi.

Emma Bridgewater

Siamo stati lieti di collaborare con il team di Emma Bridgwater per realizzare un'ampia selezione di sedie vintage originali e colorate per il Café presso il loro stabilimento produttivo di Stoke-On-Trent. Emma Bridgwater è un iconico marchio britannico che produce ceramiche decorate a mano in uno stile distintivo.

Il team aveva bisogno di sedie resistenti e funzionali, in grado di resistere al flusso di clienti desiderosi di accaparrarsi un affare nel negozio della fabbrica, accompagnato da una tazza di tè. Hanno scelto sedie vintage originali perché hanno a cuore la sostenibilità.

Vigneto di Wraxall

Abbiamo adorato lavorare con lo staff di Wraxall. Li abbiamo aiutati ad allestire il loro bar in loco e abbiamo fornito un gran numero di sedie da bistrot francese classico. Hanno dato un tocco di carattere e di antichità a un edificio relativamente nuovo. Erano particolarmente interessati ad avere sedie vintage, non solo per l'estetica, ma anche per essere in linea con la loro radicata filosofia di sostenibilità.

Siamo stati anche molto contenti di collaborare con Wraxall, perché abbiamo potuto gustare alcune delle loro esclusive bollicine durante la festa fino a notte fonda nel nostro supermercato vintage. Acquistate vini e bollicine britannici: Wraxall è uno dei migliori.

Croft 3

We sold this large batch of amazing Mullca chairs and we were so busy at the time that we forgot to ask where they were going. They went to an amazing restaurant called Croft 3 on the Isle Of Mull in Scotland. We admired the interior and spotted our chairs! The building is incredible and the whole interior design is a perfect blend of old and new.

Si tratta di un insolito gruppo di sedie ridipinte negli anni '70. Il contrasto verde brillante delle sedie con l'interno color fango dell'edificio conferisce una calda atmosfera terrosa, che, abbinata alle ampie finestre che inondano di luce, fa pensare di essere all'esterno e di essere tutt'uno con la natura. Si adattano perfettamente a questo contesto. 

Doddington Hall

Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di fornire una vasta selezione di sedie in legno curvato al pluripremiato Grain Store, il bar e ristorante di Doddington Hall & Gardens. Situato nel cuore di Lincoln, è un luogo fantastico per rilassarsi e ricaricarsi.

Tutti i prodotti presenti nel menù provengono da agricoltori britannici locali delle contee limitrofe, la frutta e la verdura vengono raccolte e raccolte nella tenuta di Doddington e l'azienda alleva anche bovini di razza rossa Lincoln, una razza rara. I nostri mobili d'epoca sono in linea con i prodotti provenienti da fonti sostenibili.

Kroketa

Il Bar Kroketa propone le tapas più amate della Spagna, concentrandosi sul suo piatto forte, la Croqueta. Si sono gradualmente espansi a Londra, da Soho a St Christopher's Place e, più recentemente, al Broadgate Circle. Si sono rivolti a noi con una visione e sono stati onorati di contribuire a realizzarla.

Abbiamo fornito sedie vintage in legno curvato, sedie da chiesa e sgabelli da bar per il Bar Kroketa, ma di recente abbiamo anche progettato, costruito e consegnato tavoli moderni con piano in marmo per completare l'ambiente. Il risultato finale è straordinario e siamo molto orgogliosi di poterlo presentare con il nostro nome.

Caterina Ormerod

Quando abbiamo ospitato The Vintage Supermarket a Soho nel maggio 2024, Katherine Ormerod è venuta a condividere le sue idee, esperienze e consigli. Abbraccia lo stile vintage e integra pezzi unici in interni moderni.

Come ringraziamento per la sua partecipazione al nostro evento, Katherine ha scelto, e noi le abbiamo regalato, un tavolo da pranzo in rovere degli anni '50 con sedie di Pierre Gautier. Ora è esposto nella sua cucina ed è apparso più volte sul suo profilo Instagram. Conosce la moda e il design e funziona alla grande.

Stanza dei permessi

Permit Room è un cliente abituale con cui amiamo lavorare, hanno stile. Nel corso degli anni abbiamo fornito sgabelli, sedie in legno curvato, sedie da esterno in metallo e molto altro.

Hanno donato oltre 500.000 pasti ai bambini e noi li sosteniamo in ogni momento. Attualmente hanno 5 sedi e saremo lì se decideranno di aprirne altre.

Piastra per capelli

One of our biggest customers is Flat Iron. We have provided hundreds of pieces of furniture to them and we absolutely love what they do with it. If you haven’t been to Flat Iron before, you need to. Flat Iron are expanding fast, currently with 25 restaurants nationwide. We have supplied chairs, tables, lights and decorative objects to almost every single one of their restaurants and we are heavily involved with supplying any new openings. Each and every restaurant has it’s own unique atmosphere but there are enough consistencies that remind you, you’re in a Flat Iron. The core reasons that keep you coming back.

We love the simplicity of the menu and the prices are very reasonable. The staff have been nothing but friendly and attentive every time we have visited. They just make you feel welcome. The attention to detail is something that we particular admire. From the engraved steak cleavers, to the little carafes of wine or the heavy weight salt and pepper grinders. The pièce de resistance is the little cleavers they give out at the end of a meal. You can hand them in for a free ice cream or keep them as a little memento! The perfect end to a meal.

Paulie’s

We have worked with the owners of Paulie’s on other projects and we were honoured to help fulfil their new vision. Born in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, the New York slice is big, wide, hot, and made to fold. It showed up in the early 1900s with Italian families, got its edge in the 80s, and never looked back.

The restaurant needed to fit that retro 80’s look at we helped kit it out with orange Formica tables, benches and rustic Mullca chairs. It looks amazing and it feels like your stepping back in time. It’s located in Shoreditch, minutes from Spitalfields Market. Next time you’re nearby, grab a slice of pie, you won’t regret it. Our favourite is the Cacio E Pepe.. it’s to die for!

Country Creatures

Country Creatures is a small group of pubs set among the rolling Cotswold hills. They have four countryside pubs with rooms that give handsome old buildings a fresh chapter. Think timber beams, uneven floors and a proper bar at the centre of it all, the kind of place where the fire is lit and no one is in a hurry to leave.

We have supplied tables, chairs, outdoor furniture and more to all four of their pubs. We continue to work with them and look forward to any new ventures they may have in the future.

The Devonshire

The Devonshire is a classic British pub in central Soho serving up homemade bar food from their in-house butcher and bakery. Upstairs they have a wood ember grill restaurant with dining rooms to host private functions for up to 60 guests. Everything is fresh which means the menu changes daily and seasonable depending on what is available.

Our chairs fill their restaurant and outside terrace and we are proud to put our name to such a successful establishment. The place oozes elegance while being very real and down to earth, capturing the essence of fresh, raw and British.

Emily Rickard

Emily is a world renowned Interior Designer and we have been lucky enough to work with her. Raised in various parts of the UK and having lived in Australia for ten years followed by six in Brooklyn, Emily now calls Bristol home. She travels between the UK and the US each year for commercial styling projects and residential design projects.

Working with light, colour and texture and writing about design, decoration, and creating delicious spaces are her passion. Her design studio, Emily Rickard Design, is based in Bristol, However, design clients reach as far as London, Scotland, New York and beyond. Her team is based in both Bristol and London.

Rockfish

Rockfish is another one of our big clients. They have 12 restaurants dotted around the south-west of England and they show no sign of slowing down. Mitch Tonks, the founder of Rockfish, is on a mission to get more people enjoying British seafood in the UK, reducing exports, reducing imports, reducing waste and showing people how great our island’s seafood is. Part of his statement is reducing waste and increasing sustainability, this sits perfectly alongside our ethos.

Rockfish buy fresh fish straight from quayside every day and they do their part to make sure there is plenty of seafood to enjoy well into the future. We have supplied vintage furniture to most of their restaurants but we have also recently created our own contemporary marble tables for them. We are currently working with them to reimagine their seaside Budleigh café into a fully fledged evening restaurant.

Rudy’s Pizza

Rudy’s Pizza restaurants are nationwide and follow the true Neapolitan traditions of making pizza. They are inspired by a local style, unique to Naples, dating back to late 1500s called Ruota di Carro. All of their pizzas are fluffy, light and are too big for the plate.

Rudy’s has some of our chairs but they have been a big buyer of our lights. The most recent opening of the Clapham Junction restaurant has recently installed 14 of our vintage lights that we sourced from Czech Republic, we are really excited to see them in situ once they open.

Soho House

Soho House is a private members’ club originally founded in London in 1995. It was created as a space for people in creative industries like film, media, fashion, and the arts, to work, socialise, and collaborate. Over time, it’s grown into a global network with locations in cities like New York, Los Angeles, Berlin, and beyond.

We’ve collaborated with Soho House on multiple occasions, curating and supplying vintage pieces for their prestigious houses. Barcelona, Ludlow House in America, Shoreditch in London are just a few of the places you might see our product.

Suntrap Café

Suntrap Café in Lisburn, Northern Ireland, is a charming spot along the Lagan towpath, praised for its friendly staff, coffee expertise, and delightful pastries.

We delivered some bentwood chairs, a couple of Mullca stools and benches and some contemporary ‘Cube’ tables that we make ourselves.

Town

We recently delivered a selection of vintage chairs to TOWN on Drury Lane, London, as part of the launch of their new downstairs event and function space. The pieces were carefully chosen to complement the character of the room, bringing warmth, texture, and a sense of history to a space designed for gatherings and private events.

It’s always rewarding to see these chairs find a new setting where they can be used and appreciated in a contemporary context. The new space will have 100 seats to host large private events. We are eager to see the final product.

Urban Leisure Group

We worked with Urban Leisure Group on their Coin Laundry bar and restaurant, supplying a selection of vintage folding chairs alongside classic Mullca stacking chairs. The mix of pieces was chosen to reflect the venue’s relaxed atmosphere. bringing together practical, hard-wearing seating with a sense of authenticity and charm that sits naturally within the space.

The combination of folding and stacking designs offers flexibility for a busy, social setting, while the patina and history of the chairs add depth to the interiors. Urban Leisure Group’s aesthetic feels both welcoming and effortlessly put together.

Time & Tide Taphouse

The Time & Tide Taphouse in Kent is an independent brewery who have opened up their second taphouse. One situated inside the brewery itself in Eastry and another in the heart of Sandwich, a few miles down the road. They have a minimum of 8 keg lines with the ability to host 32. They also sell their beers canned, so if you want to take some home, you can.

When they came to us for some furniture, we were excited to help. Unique, quirky an independent is what we are good at. They sent us a couple of photos of our stock in situ and we think it looks amazing.

The Base

We’re really pleased to have supplied chairs to The Base in Barnes. Hidden away just off the high street is this amazing gem. Café by day, restaurant and bar by night, it’s an all-day destination for food and drink. They have the most amazing handmade baked goods that are all baked in house. If you’re ever in the area, they are worth a visit.

There’s something about what they’re doing that feels honest, authentic, rustic, and a little bit raw in all the right ways. It’s the kind of place where vintage is celebrated for the texture and story.

They sit naturally in a space like The Base, they don’t just fill a room — they belong there. It’s a perfect home for pieces that were never meant to be ordinary.

GAIL’s

GAIL’s has become one of our larger clients, and it’s been brilliant to see our vintage chairs finding a place in their bakeries. As they grow, open new spaces and create places that feel welcoming and full of life, we will keep supplying chairs that bring warmth, character and individuality to each new bakery. Although each piece we provide is unique, in the setting of GAIL’s, it provides familiarity to the bakery we all know.

For Merchant & Found, it’s exactly the kind of relationship we love. Vintage furniture has a way of making a space feel settled from day one, and that feels especially right for a brand built around everyday rituals – bread, coffee, conversation and community. We are very excited with what the future holds and we can’t wait for the next project.

The Mandrake

We’re proud to have supplied vintage chairs to YOPO, the restaurant at The Mandrake in London. The Mandrake is a truly distinctive hotel, bold, atmospheric and full of personality.

YOPO has a sense of drama and warmth that really suits vintage furniture. Our chairs bring texture, individuality and a little bit of age into the room, helping create a space that feels layered rather than over-designed.

In a restaurant where the surroundings are such an important part of the experience, the right chairs do more than provide a seat, they help shape the mood.
